Inside the chamber, atmospheric pressure rises to 1.5 ATA — roughly the pressure you'd feel five metres below sea level. Under that pressure, oxygen behaves differently. Instead of waiting for red blood cells to ferry it around, it dissolves directly into your blood plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, and the fluid bathing every cell in your body.
You breathe ~96% pure oxygen through a simple mask — almost five times the 21% in normal air. Combined with the chamber's pressure, your tissues can absorb up to 20× more oxygen than they would ordinarily, reaching even the swollen or poorly-circulated areas that red blood cells struggle to access.

Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is known to help with recovery from injuries and general health problems relating to inflammation. At Green Oxygen, I have been able to get treatment at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend visiting Green Oxygen Hyperbarics for HBOT! I did 10 sessions total (pre/post surgery) to help with wound healing/recovery and I am really happy I found these guys.
